Branding and website design for Margie Dillenburg, Social Impact Consultant.
Margie Dillenburg Brand + Website
The Process
Margie Dillenburg came to me looking for a total brand revamp and website. As a Social Impact Consultant (alongside many other things), it was important for her to have a brand that embodied her passion for education, community building, and curriculum design.
She is a movement maker behind many non-profits and her new website needed to showcase not only her existing portfolio but act as a portal where prospective clients and new friends can get to know her.
After a comprehensive discovery session, a new brand was born that embodied her warm and inclusive demeanor yet says, “lets get down to business.”

Mood Board
Beginning with a mood board to set the tone for the rest of the brand and website design, we wanted to capture her movement-making abilities with focus on creating sustainable change through texture, color, and linear elements.
While Margie has a P.H.D in education, she was quick to tell me she was “a little extra” — and to make sure her new brand captured that. We brought in these themes with a bright yellow undertone which portrays joy through learning, and a bold yet engaging approach to challenge.
Logo Options
After presenting 3 different logo options, we decided to move forward with option 3, the “M” with a hexagon.
Creating lasting social change is at the heart of her work. As a self-proclaimed “hive builder”, I decided to play into the subtle hexagonal nuance to create a bold yet approachable mark that represented the multi-faceted, holistic approaches that Margie takes to her clients work. The bar that sits above represents reaching higher, breaking boundaries and existing notions of what has been done before. We carried these elements into her brand board, and furthermore into her website.
